Do Diligence is a filing-first public-company research service operated by Vector Advisory Partners. This policy describes the information used to operate the website and mobile applications.
Information we process
- Access and security information. We may process an IP address, browser or device information, request times, and authentication events to protect the service, rate-limit abuse, and diagnose reliability issues.
- Information you provide. If you contact support, we process the contact details and message you send so we can respond.
- Local workspace information. Watchlists and similar preferences may be stored on your device or in your browser. They are not used for advertising.
Research data
The service indexes public-company information and dated evidence from public sources such as SEC filings. It may display business contact information that was disclosed in a professional filing context. It is not intended to collect or expose residential, personal, or other private-contact contexts.
How information is used
We use information to operate and secure the service, provide requested research features, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising.
Sharing
Information may be handled by service providers that host, secure, or distribute the service, including Apple or Google for app distribution. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Retention and security
We retain operational and support information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, subject to legal and security requirements. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege service design, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can clear locally stored watchlists through your browser or device controls and can contact us about privacy questions or deletion requests. Version 1.0 does not create individual end-user profiles. If account creation is introduced, the released app will provide a way to initiate account deletion.
Children
Do Diligence is a professional research product and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product or service providers change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
